MVS Studio we do everything we can to work with great causes. Last week The 2015 Hollywood Dance Marathon fundraiser was held in Los Angeles, and we had a photo booth at the party to capture all the action! The Hollywood Dance Marathon (HDM) is the primary fundraising event for Lights Camera Cure.
The HDM is a high-energy dance party/charity benefit featuring supporters who sign up to dance for six hours and raise money from family and friends, similar to traditional fundraising walks. Proceeds benefit pediatric cancer patient support and research programs at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA and the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. In its first three years, the event has raised nearly $200,000 to help fight pediatric cancer.Held at the historic Avalon Theater in the heart of Hollywood, the event also includes non-stop entertainment (bands, musicians, DJ’s, etc.), celebrities & VIPs on the Red Carpet, a silent auction and more.
The cause was our reason to be there…but what a party! The crowd decided to take Michelle Obama’s #GimmeFive challenge with help of co-host Lindsay Arnold from Dancing with the Stars. Check out this video:
Celebrities Kait Weston, Brandon Skeie, Cathy Kelly, Catherine Hughes were in attendance and were captured in the booth having a great time. The photo booth images were uploaded instantly to a gallery and guests shared their shots on social media. The LCC hashtag caught on and the event was a success.
